What is Royal Rangers/Girls Ministries?
Royal Rangers and Girls Ministries are a church-based discipleship programs that have a legacy of godly men & women coming alongside our boys and girls, guiding them on a path to become mature and godly men and women. Our goal is simple: To see every boy and girl moving toward a deep relationship with Jesus Christ, and to realize his/her importance and potential in the kingdom of God.
Research shows boys and girls learn more quickly and deeply when they are taught by a role model. Boys and Girls need a real-life example. When a boy or girl understands what it means to be a godly man or woman, he/she aspires to the design that God intended. A single-gender classroom has many benefits, but the greatest of these is for a boy/girl to feel safe and secure in his/her discovery of who God intended him/her to be.
What will my child do at Wednesday Family Night?
If you're looking for a girls or boys ministry that seamlessly weaves fun and biblical training together, Royal Rangers & Girls Ministries Clubs are for you! Your boys and girls will get:
• Adventures, activities, and games that show them how discovering God's Word is fun!
• Lessons in valuable life skills from sportsmanship and integrity, to cooking and outreach.
• One-on-one help in choosing actions, attitudes, and behaviors that please God.
Boys and Girls encounter challenging situations as they grow up. By intentionally fostering relationships between boys and commanders & the girls and GM leaders through Boys and Girls Clubs, you can create a safe environment for boys and girls to discuss issues they face and get godly counsel. Most importantly, Royal Rangers and Girls Ministries Boys/Girls Clubs show each boy and girl that God loves him/her and wants a relationship with him/her.
Can I invite friends and neighbors to Royal Rangers and Girls Ministries?
Sure! We do ask for children to be registered with parental permission (see our registration form) we have emergency contact info and basic child info. Royal Rangers and Girls Ministries is fun, exciting & a great way for friends to spend time together!
What is included in my registration fee?
Charter membership in your child’s club, uniform shirts, sash or vest, Unit Badges/Charms/Pins, RR handbook, GM Activity Book (notebook, introduction pages, activity pages, and take home pages). If you are in need of financial assistance, please fill out the request form here.
What is the check in and check out process like?
To keep all our kids safe, we ask that a parent or responsible adult checks them in on our check in system. Children will receive a name tag every Wednesday with their name & a unique pick up code. Parents will receive a card with matching pick up code tag & 5 numbered stickers. Please place a fresh numbered sticker on your child’s shirt to identify their club & keep your pick up card with you. Once kids are checked in, they join the fun in our GM South Chapel & RR Club Room with our Opening Ceremony!
Check out looks like this: Parents are asked to go to Club classroom to get your child. Your child’s RR Commander/GM Sponsors will verify that your pick up card matches your child’s name tag before releasing them to your care.
What if I lose my pick up card?
RR Commander Jarrod Togias & GM Coordinator Lynette Lyons will verify your identity through your photo ID. We appreciate your patience as we prioritize the safety of your child.
What if someone else needs to pick up my child?
Notify our RR Commander/GM Coordinator, GM Assistant Coordinator Paula Macko when you arrive with your child to make arrangements for another adult to pick your child up that evening.
My child has food allergies. What should I do?
There will be no snacks this year for RR or GM this year. On the Medical Authorization form filled out after registration you will list any and all allergies and concerns. If there is a special unit or party your child’s club is having we will then check each child’s record and ask for appropriate food to be provided.
What does my child need for the night?
Make sure your child has a good healthy dinner! Each child should wear their club shirt. RR – handbook GM – club take home folders. A great attitude and readiness to worship & soak in Jesus!
