Immanuel, God with us | O Come O Come Immanuel

“For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given.” Unto you, unto me. Immanuel: God with us. God could have chosen to be God above us, only. But through Jesus, our Immanuel, He is God with us. In the love song that is Christmas, we come to understand that God CHOSE to be with us. He accepted us just as we are. A promise He has kept: God was with us. A promise He will continue to honor: God will be with us. Jesus, our Immanuel: God with us. Rejoice! If you missed it, check out how this song complements Pastor Randy's message from this morning! We would also like to invite you to our Christmas Services. Identical services ...

Christmas Services

We would be honored to have you and your family join us for one of our Christmas Services this year! Two identical services will begin at 6pm on Saturday, December 23rd and Sunday, December 24th. *There will be no regular Sunday morning service on the 24th*. It is the utmost priority of our church to respect family time, so in recent years we have added a service on the 23rd. This gives an opportunity for those with family traditions on Christmas Eve to still participate in Christmas at Word of Life. Many families still choose to attend on the 24th, so we’d love to welcome you either night, and become a part of your family tradition this year. ...

The darkness: the sinfulness of the world. The light: the hope of Christ's coming. The long-awaited Messiah came to earth and God's promise of salvation was fulfilled. The thrill of hope was satisfied as the power of sin and death was broken. Our relationship with God was restored, and out of that restoration, the soul felt its worth. It's the weary soul that rejoices, the soul in need of a Savior. The wonder of Christmas is that the same transforming power ...

A Night of Worship | November 15th

Ephesians 2:1-5 And although you were dead in your transgressions and sins, in which you formerly lived according to this world’s present path, according to the ruler of the kingdom of the air, the ruler of the spirit that is now energizing the sons of disobedience, among whom all of us also formerly lived out our lives in the cravings of our flesh, indulging the desires of the flesh and the mind, and were by nature children of wrath even as the rest… But God, being rich in mercy, because of his great love with which he loved us, even though we were dead in transgressions, made us alive together with Christ— by grace you are saved!
