LIFE groups... The place to build long-lasting, meaningful friendships.
LIFE groups are small groups of twelve to fifteen individuals or eight to ten married couples who meet in someone's home for fellowship, Bible study, prayer, and accountability. They are typically closed groups after sign-ups, with a commitment to meet together for twelve weeks. We offer small groups for teenagers, singles, married couples, men and women.
Why does Word of Life have LIFE Groups?
We believe that this is the place where significant life change occurs, where real life and real issues are discussed. This is the environment where we celebrate the successes and good times of life, as well as comfort one another during the tough and disappointing times. It is a place to be encouraged, equipped, and challenged to become a faithful and effective follower of Jesus Christ.
When do LIFE Groups meet?
Each LIFE group decides when and where it wants to meet as well as there own approved topic. We can help you find groups that are meeting on a particular night or in a certain area of the city and connect you with them at our small group sign-up. Sign-ups take place three times a year prior to our twelve week sessions.
How long does a LIFE Group last?
Many LIFE groups form and immediately commit to meet every week for twelve weeks. However, three times each year we will begin a new cycle of LIFE groups and make available an opportunity for new members to join groups and new leaders to start them.
Who do I contact if I have questions about a LIFE Group?
