What To Expect

Whether you’ve attended church your entire life or never been at all, we know it’s not easy visiting a church for the first time. You’re not quite sure what to expect and you probably have a lot of questions. We here at Word of Life want to give you the best experience possible.

There is something for everyone on Sunday mornings. There is nursery for babies (2 months to 2 years), Kingdom Kidz is for kids 2 years old to 5th grade. LIFE youth Jr. High meets across the street at our youth facility and is for 6th to 8th grade students. Services are held in our main sanctuary for everyone else.

Our services are exciting, casual, and relaxed. Come as you are and expect to feel welcomed as our guest. Services will be 75 minutes long and you can grab a cup of coffee and some breakfast at our cafe before, after or both.. it’s pretty good coffee!

Our South Campus is where all of our kids meet and is a secure facility. We use a check in system that will print a name tag for each of your children and a parent tag that has a matching code on it that will be needed to pick up your child after service. If at any point during the service we need to reach you regarding your child we will first attempt to reach you through SMS text message with your provided mobile number. If we are unable to reach you the unique code assigned to your child on both the child’s name tag and parent tag will be displayed in the bottom corner of the large screens in the main sanctuary. Word of Life FAQs

  • What can I expect?

Sunday services are exciting, casual, and relaxed. You won’t be pointed out or made to feel uncomfortable in any way. You will have a meaningful, stress-free experience. Each service begins with several songs of worship and after some brief announcements the message will begin.

  • When are services?

We have two identical services every Sunday at 9am and 11am. Each service last about 75 minutes long, and you should arrive about 15 minutes early. If you have children, that will give you plenty of time to get them checked in at Kingdom Kidz before the service begins.

  • What should I wear?

Whatever you want! We welcome jeans, t-shirts, ties, tuxedos... you get the idea. Come as you are.

  • How do I get there?

Word of Life is located right in the heart of the village of Baldwinsville with entrances on both Oneida St. and Elizabeth St. For more detailed information visit our icon-arrow-circle-right Info Page.

  • What happens when I arrive?

When you pull onto the campus there will be plenty of parking and friendly parking attendants can assist you in finding the best possible spot. There is a covered car port for dropping off the family if the weather is bad and for those that need extra assistance. As you enter the main campus you will see an info center that can answer all your questions (maybe not the ones about nuclear physics), and a cafe to grab a coffee and breakfast. To your right you will see the elevator and the entrance to our Kingdom Kidz check in, as well as the elevator to the south campus. To your left will be the main auditorium and behind the fireplace are the men’s and women’s bathrooms.
